LOST CITY OF ATLANTIS

This is a parable of our times. The story of an ancient advanced civilisation, a long-lost global empire, full of beauty and architecture, gold, statues and crystal-clear waters teeming with life, becomes corrupted by greed and the desire for power and its apocalyptic collapse, sinking under the water.

The 100-strong ensemble will reveal the parallels of this ancient story first recounted by Plato – the Greek Philosopher - 2,300 years

ago to life in today’s 21st Century. What can and will we do, the young people especially, to change the narrative for us all, of not going the way of the Atlanteans and offering hope and ways forward to us as a civilisation right now?

Starting at Westgate outside UNIQLO then travelling through Bonn Square and Cornmarket Street before ending in Broad Street
